Our current economic climate has forced emerging college students to meet an even higher standard to compete in the marketplace. Meeting those expectations is imperative. We’re competing for jobs not only against our fellow classmates, but also with seasoned professionals that have been in the industry for years.

As a student, most of us are isolated from the professional world that we are learning to become a part of. Being involved in an
organization such as ASID is pivotal to our success. As participants, we are able to learn best practices from professionals within the industry as well as the importance of staying current in order to provide competitive services to our clients.

ASID helps us to present ourselves as professionals to future employers and clients alike, providing a smoother transition from the books to the office place.
