DESIGN COMMUNITY NEWS

The ASID Carolinas Board of Directors and Design Community Leaders have worked hard to bring informative programs and CEUS to our membership across the Carolinas during 2013. In an effort to improve program quality and attendance, quarterly meetings have been established for each Design Community.

We would love for you to take part in your  local Design Community meeting!  Please feel free to bring a friend and get involved.  We welcome your suggestions and feedback.

Please check each event you are interested in attending for the correct dates and descriptions.  Most of the upcoming quarterly Design Community meetings will fall on the dates below,  but make sure you check each event, because there may be a exceptions to these dates.

Note that some of the Design Communities will be having meetings in early August. See below for D.C. meetings and topics that have not yet been scheduled. Details will be posted for those meetings as soon as they are received.

GET INVOLVED IN LEGISLATION

Just  like 2012, 2013  is a pivotal year for legislation.  We have a newly refined bill that has been rewritten many times over the last few years to satisfy our opposition.  We have solid support for our More Jobs, More Tax Revenue, More Student Opportunities approach to legislation.  We need you to get involved so that our legislators know that you support the passage of voluntary registration for interior designers in the state of South Carolina!
