Message from the President

From the Desk of Susan Carson, ASID Carolinas President

Dear ASID Carolinas Chapter membership,

It is my great pleasure to introduce you to Leslie Sawyers, our new Administrator for ASID Carolinas.

Leslie joins ASID Carolinas with eight years of executive administrative assistance and office management. Prior to joining ASID Carolinas, Leslie was the Executive Assistant for the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation in Winston-Salem. Leslie’s background is seasoned with nonprofit experience combined with experience working with organizations with many constituents. Specific skills include file and database management, developing communications and materials distribution systems for multi-member boards of directors, special event planning including board meetings, site visits, staff retreats, and client gatherings, as well as an array of business administration and organizational development skills, including managing budgets, implementing cost-cutting measures and developing strategies to communicate whole-staff issues with varied levels of management.

Leslie is a 2012 graduate of High Point University where she majored in Marketing. She lives in Pilot Mountain, NC with her husband, Andy, daughter (Hadleigh), stepson (Dalton), and a loving Golden Retriever, (Kosmo).
